My Diesel is Freezing

The last 3 mornings I have had my diesel freezing/ turning waxy and it hasn't even got cold yet only -6 the other morning and the truck was tucked up nice and warm in the shed. It seems to start ok but I get about 2 minutes down the road and that's her and the fun begins.
I had a chat with my fuel company today and apparently I am there only customer with this issue (insert Tui add)
Anyway they have suggested that I get some Wynns Ice Proof and add some to my fuel in the Safari and dose the bulk heating diesel tank at work
Anyway before I go down that path I thought that one of the wiser diesel master's on here might have some suggestions

Go to your local airstrip /top dresser and get some Jet A(the fuel they use for the turbo prop top dressers) as it has an anti freezing agent in it and will clean your engine of build up while it's in there.
Max safe ratio is 60/40 diesel/jet A but 5 litres per fill will stop it freezing.

Adding some kerosine will do the same thing. It used to be added to our fuel over winter to prevent waxing but I don't know if it still is.

Yeap the chap above is right just add kerosene to ya tank and itl stop it freezing,

Jet fuel is just high quality kerosene...

with a lot of lube removed from modern diesel i would not be watering it down with kero unless you can add some lube back in. a bit of 2 stroke oil would help.

during the winter most petrol stations sell a winter blend especial in Te Waipounamu (mainland) , if you get diesel from a place with low turn over they may still have the normal blend

^^^Dead right. Kero gets blended in by all of the fuel companies as the weather gets colder,(not just in the colder places, everywhere) to prevent waxing and also improves the cetane rating, which is why its not recommended to store diesel (and of because of "THE BUG"
)
