Lizard skin coatings

Any one used lizard skin thermal and sound barriers on their rides (2wd or 4wd)?

Looking for something to tidy up the interior of the 45 and figure this might be a good solution and will also remove that really tinny sound you get from rain on a sheetmetal roof or closing doors.

I have read good things about it but wondered if anyone had some real world experience (not advertising hype). For the price of a kit I dont want to waste my time and money.
