1994 3.5ltr V6 Pajero Diagnostic Connector

Need help in locating the computer diagnostic connector on my Austrlian assembled LWB 3.5 ltr petrol Pajero with the 6G74 engine. Internet searches suggest behind the glove box on the passenger side and have found the computer but no loose connector to check why the engine warning light is coming on and now preventing the engine from firing.
