Light Change, still WOF'able?

Light Change, still WOF'able?

Post by timmay556 »

I have a 94 Nissan Patrol with the gay lights like:
(rear 1/4 and bumper)

and I would like to change them to:

WITHOUT the lights on the bumper bit (will remove completely) and I still have a high stop light in the rear barn door.

Will I still pass WOF?

As long as the new ones are wired up correctly there is no reason why it should fail, the import safaris had those lights and there are plenty of them getting around on the roads.

Will be fine as long as the lights have the correct numbers on the lens to say they comply.

I understood you only need the correct number on them when re-registering (getting a new vin and number plates), that is what I was told when I had to re-register my road bike.

Once registered so long as they were the correct colour they would pass a WOF.

No ...have to be correct all the time ... got to be up to standard.

finding the lights is easy, but finding the chrome bar ends is almost impossible.
