Anyone else seen what happens to a motor running lean for too long

Oh god now everyone else who doesn't understand mechanics is going to try it! Car manufacturers bewildered at sudden spate of melted pistons and burnt intake valves. That is if they don't blow themselves up sitting open gas cans in the engine bay haha

yeah leave it over night with the fumes leaking out the intake pipe filling up the engine bay then a stray spark from a ht lead or starter and it could get quite interesting
