How do you know it's your diff that is shuddering?

Is your vehicle auto or manual? If manual, the clutch can get a bit of crap between it and the flywheel causing shuddering under take off.

Rear driveshaft UJ? You could re-pack it with grease, see if it helps. Or grab another low mileage driveshaft for $20 or so from a wrecker.

How many miles on the truck?

Does the rear driveshaft have a centre hanger bearing?
My LN106 had the same issue, the rubber in the hanger bearing was flogged out, replacing it fixed the problem.

I will try the repacking the UJ with grease and see if that helps.
Its a 1 piece driveshaft and the clutch is less than 15000km since it was replaced.
Im not 100% sure of milage as I have a feeling the previous owner may have rewound it but it says 305,000km I would say more along the lines of 400km. :)

The new clutch I fitted to mine about 4 years ago started shuddering in about 10000ks, it still does it but I cant be arsed taking it back out. I find if I give it a bit of a burn( 4th gear handbrake on lots of revs and let clutch out till it slips and tries to drive for a few seconds) it will stop shuddering for a little while.
I assume it is either because I didn't get the flywheel surfaced or the clutch disc has broken springs or shit friction material.

If I dont have any luck with the UJs I may just pull the box out and check the clutch.
Good excuse to do some mods while im at it
