yeah, nothing wrong with the tyres really. Need a body lift for that or chop the back off, 32's and a winch are big enough for now.

Epic day at Woodhill 4x4 park destroyed two cars (almost) and watch some chicks wrestle in the mud pit
Truck pic to follow, thought this was more important.

Taped some threads into mount plates for sliders and rear cage mounts. Did a bit of welding on chassis..
Cut up some steel plate and tube to make some big axle stands to hold up the chassis when I remove the running gear later in the month.
Got to love mig welders and plasma cutters.

Treated and painted some rust on the back end of the cruiser. Have some nice runs now

looks better than the rust though. One day I might pay someone to do it properly

Wanted a land anchor easy to store in the truck, $40 and some cutting, bending and welding later came up with this.

stakes are 40x5mm Right Angle,
10mm plate with 3 60mm holes

Went for a but of a reccy with two other guys from the Marlborough club. Looks like we might be able to get access to a great training area for training days. Lots ascents and descents with safe flat run outs at the base.
Just need to do some trimming on the access in so it won't be scratchy for the shinies on ATs.
I had another off camber sideways slide in to deep water stopping on a freaky angle (hate sidlings) and had to get winched backwards by a Nissan. That is twice now... Considering an "Attach Nissan here" bumper sticker.
I drive a landcruiser 74First time out in months and first time on BFG MT KM2s. Good day with much happiness and burning of fossil fuels...

Yay - Finally got out in my Jeep for the first time - Thanks to the Cozzie 4x4 Club. Porters Rd yesterday. Never knew a 4x4 could go on that angle without tipping over.

There are other clubs in Auckland as well

, and almost all of them are very friendly :
http://www.nzfwda.org.nz/clubs/Have a look at the list and try attending a couple of meetings to see which one you like best.
