A mates got a L/C 88 MWB, he's off to Ch-Ch in the morning and would like to know how to disconect that Speed Dinger.

Did that on my lux. Found a part of the dash near the bottom on the driver side which had little vents in it to allow the sound to come out, then found the dinger behind it. Pulled the wire and that was the end of that.
