Hey team, looking at buying 1pz 5 cylinder landcruiser, 1991, has 330,000km on the clock but is very tidy. Would like to know if anyone has any knowledge about these trucks and/or engine that they can share before I buy, has it got too many kms? Cheers

Great motor

i haven't heard any bad words about them, ditch the factory temp gauge as like most toyota engines they dont like over heating

300kms may seem like alot but if its been well maintained the engine will run for alot longer then 500xxxkm with out any failures (major) expect things like glow pugs water pumps timing belts and things like that to be replaced,

in an old 70 series cruiser i would be more concerned of rust and bad maintenance

If it still has electric freewheel hubs check them out to see if they still work.
