Well, I have had my new jeep for just over a month now so I thought it was time for an anniversary present :)

And so the spending starts...
This is just the beginning. You might even get to love/enjoy working on the Jeep?

Download Factory Service Manual for your model year. Use that rather than this confusion.

Wrong rims for a TJ. Tyres would be 28/29". Too small. :D

Rims are correct stud pattern, but they are not 8" wide. Tyres are all different, not really advisable.

Why can't people be honest about the items and not over price their crap.

You wouldn't happen to have any old rims floating around that you might sell me by any chance?
And thanks for clearing that up, I was very close to buying them :)

Unfortunately I sold my factory 16" alloys with worn BFG Muds a year ago for $500 on TradeMe.

little tool box is a good start,
bunnings do a reasonable priced torque wrench (kinchrome),
be blatant and ask for trade at the back counter :D
which is a really good option for wheel nuts and any repair work you decide to take on,
the Haynes you have will list the torque settings for every bolt on the truck basically.
Anyone that can read can follow those things so you'll probably do better than a good portion of the men on here...
Tony Differ at Speedy lube and tire is another good point of call (next to McDonalds on Greenwood st (Hamilton)
has a good selection of 31 mts second hand atm (was in there looking for a Suzuki spare).
see you on a cozzy run some time .
cheers Jase

That's a much better looking kit than what i started out with in my small tool box that lived under the bonet. At the end of the day its just a giant mecano set. Take your time ask when un sure and have fun doing it.
and remember that an adjustable spanner will cause problems

Thanks for the encouragement :)
I stay away from the old nut fuckers as much as possible...
