Thanks.
Is there any point to using the 2LT oil cooler on the 3L apart from the fact you can use the original oil feed line?
I was planning on putting a T into my oil pressure switch or i think there is a bung next to it and getting some lines made from a hose doc
Cheers

no not really.
the z334 filter is a pain. its dual filter but it blocks up fast and its 2-3x the price of a z9. i did hear some manufactures changed it to single filter.
the stock oil feed line will bend and reach one of the oil outlets. or use threaded oil feed that you can buy.

Ok cool thanks so ill use the original oil cooler and T a oil feed in
Couple more questions
Which size exhaust system should i use?
Does the 2.4 boost compensator bolt onto the 2.8 pump?
And is there any point to using it apart from the black smoke off boost?
Going to use a front mounted intercooler as it's a hunting truck not a mud bash 4wding truck
Cheers

2.5" or 3" will do.
boost comp i think is not a straight hook up. that may depend on what pump you have. something about one of the internal links gets in the way and needs changing.
i'm not running boost comp at the mo. while its ok if i'm gentle on the throttle, when you need to boot it smoke becomes a big issue. also its probably damaging the engine a bit to (poor AFR). these are not the strongest of engines. the old slow mo ct20 doesn't help.
my egt's are really cool, but i need to fit a boost comp so i can wind up the fuel without rolling coal.
intercooler helps a lot, even a cheap crap TM one.
also i found an electric fuel lift pump helps a lot. mind you my IP is probably well worn.
