Vacuum pump for 2.7 diesel motor

My Nissan terranos vacuum pump which is attached to the rear of the alternator is not working.Can anyone please tell me who may have exchange units in auckland or alternatively a good repairer of the same. Thanks Pat D

Normally the cause of failure is the splines on the rotor the drive the vac pump.
When the splines strip it is time for a new alternator.

Churcher Dan,I picked up a new one this morning from AES in Paramount Drive Henderson.cost incl.gst $ 457.70.thanks again.
