Hi all I own a HJ61 cruiser that has a bad case of rust in the mid-rear roof. I have looked into getting professional repairs done, priced a new roof ex Toyota but everything is well past the affordable mark,
And no I do not want to cut up old Suzie into a ute.
The question I have is: will a roof of a 80 serious landcruiser fit on to a 60?

Just out of interest, how much did Toyota want for the new roof?
The double skin roof on the old 60s is a bit of a rust trap.

Toyota was asking just over 2K.
The 60's have a real bad habit with rust..

I have a 60 here that has a decent roof. All the rust I can see in it is at the top of the left a pillar and at the top right corner of the front windscreen.
it is a high roof with a sunroof in it it has no head lining and looks good from the inside too.
Im happy to cut it off through the pillars if you are interested
