Has anyone used or have experience of these chains?

Purely for ice if you are thinking mud i,d suggest a set of andrews or ladder chains with cleats welded to each individual link accross the chain.


The advantage being these chains can be easily made longer or wider for different tyres. You'll only ever need the one set.

I have ladder chains too...

re they taking the piss? Mud Chains?
Stick with the tried and tested. If you use them lots I'd expect them to break down over time, rocks larger than roading chip would likely damage them.
