Rare Car Stolen Whangarei in last few days

Hi, My mates very rare Race Car has been stolen from Whangarei in the last few days- He is away at work so is not sure of exact date.

sadly that most likly would of been stolen just for the motor ither for a old skool project
i like the artical saying being the oly one in the county
there is one in palmy on the car yard for sale for about a shit lode of money
but could be lucky they do stick out like a exotic car

Bastards. Seen this on stuff the other day. Out of interest what was the engine? If it is a jap GTSR then it should be redtop rb20det, or Aussie GTS a chipped rb30e, but the article says 2.4 so I'm kind of guessing L24ET? either way mongrels could've found a usable engine without needing to steal such a rare performance icon.

Hi,,
This from the Owner.
The car is an immaculate fully original GTS-R the engine is a red top RB20DET-R it is not 2.4 as the cops put on the listing

The stolen one is an r31 not an r30 if I'm not mistaken. R30 ironmask tho..tempting haha

Appears to be essentially unmarked, drove onto tow truck
Lots of other stolen gear at same address. 2 offenders charged and remanded to Monday at this stage
