Anyone experienced this? Both going while driving then all of a sudden go dead, then come back on later?! An electrical issue I presume. I have checked the fuses - all OK. :?

could be a loose connection in the plug or a dry solder joint on back of speedo cluster

Do they both stop together?
And do you have an analogue odometer or a digital one? The digital odometer clusters are more prone to complete failure.

Yes - both stop together, then go again. Both are analogue.

Thanks

Oh - the odometer is digital - that doesn't stop! (unfortunately)

Quite likely to be this

Pull the cluster out and take the speedo out of it and check for dry soldered joints on the circuit board or get it repaired by an instrument repair shop before it dies completely. When it totally dies the odo will go to 9999999 and all gauges will stop.
