as450 winch wiring

G'day fellas. Have purchased a as450 Toyota winch for my truck, except it doesn't have a winch controller. My question is, is it going to be difficult to make one, or perhaps easier to wire it to switches on the dash? Currently has a six pin plug on it going to the solenoid, but I can't really find any other information as to where to buy a replacement controller.

Also, if anyone has one of these around Auckland area that I could use their controller to test if it works, it'd be mighty appreciated.
