after ditching the 3L V6 pajero recently, ive purchased the machine pictured below.
we owned the v6 for around 4 years, but just couldnt afford to run that bad boy anymore.
the usual culprits; low power, a heavy right foot-as often as possible and trailers loaded with jetski's and quadbikes.
it was fun enough while it lasted, but when its only used for trips up north and holidays etc. some decisions need to be made
so we start a new adventure with the diesel.must admit its the first oil burner i've owned and takes alittle getting use to.
then i we fill the thing and it all makes sense. an extra 150-200k's per tank and its under 100$$.

afew things to sort- no alternator/glow plug/hand brake/water warning lights show in the dash, but im sure
that will be an easy(ish) fix at some point.(as long as it doesnt crap out in the middle of no-where at some un-godly hour before then) it will be fine.
looking for ward to getting it ready for camping etc in the coming months.(lights, winch, compressor etc)
as mentioned,we spend several weeks a year in and on the beach/dunes around the Herekino/Ahipara areas, but now that we can actually
afford to fuel the thing i will probably be seeing afew for you about the place at the meets etc.
this saturday sounds like a go'er at this stage.
cheers Marty
