Hi there got a few questions here so I can get a few things done..

I got x2 4.88 diffs I want to put into the Hilux, one open the other LSD. What I want to know is how much oil I should need for each (I have been told the LSD needs more). Vehicle is '87 Hilux.

Also what is the resale value of standard Hilux diffs? I think they're 4.2 ratio.

And is there a locker option for the 4.88? I'd like to put my LSD in the front and lock the rear.

All i do is fill the diff untill oil comes out the filler hole, just make sure your trucks on level ground first. You can buy proper LSD oil.

Count the crown and pinion teeth on your original diffs and post them, 4.2 sounds real foreign.

If your diffs are 4.1 ratio and the price is right, i maybe keen on them.

Make sure u use lsd oil if you dont your lsd wont work properly.

Yes it is 4.1 sorry.
