Looking for recommendations for new leaf springs for my truck. Has had new shocks in the last year, springs are knackered. Don't want much of a lift, just back to standard height ish.
Daily driver, mostly on road ks. I'm in christchurch, cheers

Terrain Tamer would be a good place to start.
ARB (Peter Munro Commercials) also good.

personally i've run both and would take arb over tt any day. tt are fine for a h/duty spring but off road they will knock ya fillings out in less than half an hour.
on saying that arb now are doing cheap springs from a non aussy country, and i have not ran the cheap springs.
make sure you weld anti-inversion plates onto the shackle bars as once you've flipped a spring next time its loaded it will break. ask me how i know

if your springs are knackered a new set of standard springs usually gives you a pretty good lift ARB OME springs are good on those 70 series cruisers but it'll leave a pretty decent hole in your pocket after buying springs, bushes, anti-inversion shackles, greasable pins and new shocks when you find the ones already on your truck don't have enough travel to match the new springs Its money well spent if your going to keep the thing for 10 years + other wise its money you'll never see back if you flick it in the next year or two

Ask Trundle on here, I got a good deal for 2" lift leafs for my Bj74. There Terrain takers and my shocks are newish so didn't bother replacing them. Rides stuff but no worse than the saggy factory ones. May take a leaf out if I get excited one day.

Hi I went with EFS springs from Phil at force 4, transformed the old truck, costs are high so you will need to keep truck or take off new springs and swap with old ones...

all ways like a guinea pig to test new stuff out. if there price is sharp and warranties good, give them a go and report back your test findings

They have done quite a few new spring set ups for Canterbury people. Mostly coils but people seem very pleased with them rather than the off the shelf stuff.
Haven't used them myself though.

New springs are in, wheel alignment done. Huge improvement. Needs new shocks now though. Wanted OME but Peter Munro Comm won't have any until late december. Any other recommendations?

efs extreme if you want good long lasting otherwise throw some cheapies in

We use B&E for work and always get good service. They made an extra leaf for the back of our ranger service truck to get it level again and it was only a couple of days with shipping.

Went with EFS Elite because the price was too good. Still bouncy as hell in the rear though
