IFS Surf/Hilux Steering Box Query

Ok, the power steering box in the Bitsalux is leaking quite badly at the input shaft. It's been weeping for ages, but now it's pissing fluid so time to do something about it...
It is an LN130 Surf box, but quite an old one (1990ish). From doing a bit of research, I see that Toyota changed their part numbers for the steering box and pitman arm around August 1991.
The box that I have is identical to all of the ones on trade me that I've seen, however the front valve body (where the hydraulic lines attach) is different. The other ones taper in where as mine doesn't. Does anyone have any experience with both of these steering boxes and are they a direct swap or not? I know they both mount up the same to the chassis.
Here's a couple of pictures showing what I'm on about. The top picture is the box that I have, and the bottom one is a photo of the more common boxes that I've seen around.
Also, If someone is willing to sell a Surf or IFS Hilux steering box or knows of a good rebuild place around manawatu, then I'll be interested to hear.
