VW Amarok now has roof mounted lights x 4 from the factory. A total of 8 front facing lights.
This is all legal. Just in case someone gets pinged on too many front facing lights or height of them. Previously Jeep Cherokee KJ came with lights on roof as well.

Pay attention to:
Those Anorak lights, are they hooked up to the headlamps? Or are they work lamps?
You fit as many lights to your roof as you like, as long as they are work lamps.
Pay attention to:
Note 6
A vehicle originally manufactured with a headlamp arrangement that differs from what is required or permitted in this section may retain the original headlamps provided they remain fitted in their original position and perform as intended by the vehicle manufacturer.

I suspect that the roof lights will not be connected to headlights and are for off road use only.
or as has been pointed out are "work lights" therefore not legal to use on the road.

but in NZ the Jeep Cherokee only had two lights because the laws at that time didn't allow for any more.
And if you did use the roof light on the road on high beam, they were wired to extinguish when you dipped the headlights but wouldn't come back on again when you went back to main.
You had to physically reach down to bottom of dash on right hand side to turn them on again.
