Manualising A343F

I've just completed a 1UZ swap into my '91 LJ78 Prado. It goes great but I'm having transmission shifting problems as expected. The trans is an A343F with a seperate ECT. Basically I need to know if the lexus ECU will work alongside the Prado ECT or if I have to fully manualise it how do I go about it?
I have read a few different threads about manualising but they are usually based on the A340E. My trans has two more pins in the Neutral Start Switch so I'm having trouble working out which wires I should be using.
My cert is booked in for Thursday afternoon so if I could sort it by then that'd be great

The plug at the trans has 8 pins and the ECT has 26 if that helps. Pin outs would be great

What ECT are you using to drive the auto???
What auto did you use...
Did you keep the LJ78's one or use the one that came with the 1UZ?
I have manualised mine (KZJ78) and have a thread on here somewhere re doing it...
The A343F is a variant of the A340E...
Its an A340 Auto mated to a Part Time transfer case........hence the 43F bit....
Extra pins in the neutral start switch wont effect much... as they mainly use them for dash light / shift position indication... Neutral safety and also send a signal to the ECU or TCU to tell it if its in N.....
Apart from that it plays no other role in gear selection.....electrically that is....
What part of the country are you in as a phone call is easier than a txt exchange....

I'm in Whangarei. It's the factory Prado trans with 1UZ bellhousing, pump and torque converter. I managed to find a pin out for my factory Prado ECT. The pin out is actually for a Jeep AW4 trans but the wiring seems to be exactly the same as mine. Then I just manualised it using your guide.
Passed the cert today no problem. But I'm still not super happy with the shift 1>>2. Low gear revs fine then you bump it up to 2nd and it feels like there's a huge gap, like going 1>>3. But then 2>>3 shift is as it should be. Is this normal or has anyone had similar issues?
