I really like my old 89 GQ SWB!
Just trying to make it into somthing worthy.
This site is pretty helpful with 4WD Stuff.

Hi, true trolls indeed. Already fixed the lockup clutch $$$, LWB springs with 30mm polytuff packers, overflow tank, battery, solid side Windows with tints, fluids, overhauled all calipers, park brake shoes, s/h front & rear bumper, new H4 globes and the list goes on. Got some S13 seats that will be fitted, S13 steering wheel (injected with epoxy) fitted, dc voltage controler fitted to original controller to running stereo. Fixed digital clock (dry joints). New polytuff panhard bushes fr&rear. Ultima rear shocks... ect. Restoring the bash plates, will fit crossmember spacers, find a controller for rear oem diff lock. The list goes on...

mac valves in onehunga do a 24v single valve to operate the rear diff lock,
that's just a tat over. $100 a bargain
drop the gearbox x member why you lifted Over 75mm it's needed but if you do longer lower arms too , to cancel vibes in the drive line.
oh rear driveshaft spacer to get more splines engaged on the slip joint, the list goes on

The list is always goes on for those that can't settle. How much lift do LWB springs produce in a SWB? I knows it's up there due to the angle on the rear sway bar. Thanks Coxsy,

that I'm not sure on maybe 50 mm , you can get long arms to level the sway bar.
it's not settle , I want mine better, than average

So what I have done by adding LWB springs is added 50mm then added 50mm spring spacers = nearly 4in lift. The SWB's all look pretty low in standard form, lots of GQ's I see around have sagged ass's. My SWB looks like an off-roader now! Pretty level all round. Got some vibe at 50k but no death wobble or uncomfortable sway in corners. Only has rear detachable sway bar, none on front. I will get the g/b spacer in to help driveline vibe. If I can't sort it will consider the lowest polytuff spacer for the 4 corners. Maybe OEM spring pads would be better. The original ones were shot, so fuelling the other options.

got a set here in auckland if you want them, I got drop boxes on it now so the front axle can flex better,
4" is high pulls the axles in close to the guards edges, you runnning 33" or 35".
a cert will be on your list too

I just checked my invoice for the polytuff spring spacer set, 30mm. Not sure how much lift I got out of the LWB springs. I might be interested in the spring pads/spacers pm me with a price. Hey, thanks for your input and help. Should I start a topic under the Nissan garage for this kind of discussion.. thnx m8.. Forgot to mention that I am looking at putting 33's on it. It has 5 spoke deep dish factory alloy's. They place the 31x10.5x15's flush with the factory flares. Wondering if the 33's will stay under. Was also looking at the radius arm spacer to push front diff forward a tad. I have the new bushes ready to go in... So far I have enjoyed working on it...
