Series IIA Skippy in CHRISTCHURCH

Reg. status is 'exempt' (expired Jan 2014), WOF expired March 2014 as vehicle was being restored. RUCs are current. Original build plate included. Carjam report: http://www.carjam.co.nz/report/?ref=4BD9F940

No half arsing with anything, its a really nice presentable and good running late Series IIA. With the high range gearing and turbodieseI, would drive it to Auckland if it was currently WOF'd. It would be a great small business promotional vehicle.

Factory Skippy features - extended shackles, axle trusses, etc
Very good cond. Nissan LD28 factory turbo (certd), 2" exhaust and large radiator
Reconditioned Suffix D gearbox (strongest)
3.54:1 Range Rover differentials set up correctly - no noise or worn out gears
Year old canvas tilt, genuine hoodsticks
Brake booster, OME shocks and steering damper
15" rims with BFGoodrich/Hankook tyres
AVM freewheeling hubs
New fluids throughout
Full set of spare axle shafts included
O/hauled handbrake, wheel bearings
New battery

High quality bare metal repaint with Dupont paints
Internal rollbar
Halogen headlights
No chassis or bulkhead rust

Previous owned had glued some crappy foam to the bulkhead with liquid nails. See photo - its not rust but adhesive. This has all been replaced one-piece automotive carpet and helps with soundproofing a lot. Tastefully installed.

ie doesn't look like a 12 year old with some arts and crafts supplies and a gallon of PCP was let loose in there.

For WOF:
Cracked windscreen
Bonnet flew open on owner, bonnet is quite beaten up, may want to replace
But of rust (arrested) on underside of door frames that WOF guy didn't care about.
Needs door seals
Door hinges need tightening/adjusting

Owner is buying a house and is motivated to sell. Vehicle can be test driven etc and viewing is welcome. Can get more pics of chassis/engine etc if needed.
