Hi there names Josh from west auckland. Got a 94 v6 manual terrano a few months back to try something new and i cant stop thinkin bout the damn truck now! Ive made a idler bracket to strengthen up the steering. What ive been looking at is a calmini lift kit and superlift uca's. Im slightly confused as to what i need, the calmini kit comes with t rods, uca's, front and rear shocks, springs, upper ball joints and hardware. Do i need all that?? From what ive read it sounds like all you need is the uca's, rear shocks and springs and re index the t bars?? Any help much appreciated! Chur

Welcome Josh I am also a Josh (not a biblical reference)

How much are you trying to lift it?
Are you trying to lift it to fit bigger tyres?

Body lift may be a better option?

Welcome josh. Josh here is a gold mine of info for the wd21. And he will tell you too. Get the steering strengthend up first.

Possibly just mud tyres of same size, or 33's. I think i will strenthen the steering up first before anything else.

go 32s x 11.5 or 33 x 10.5s bud, lighter than 33 x 12.5s and don't require terribly much lift to fit them (infact you can fit them standard with enough flexy space. I run 32s with just a little guard trimming to be safe)
As above, get the steering strengthened up first (even if it's just a straight swap from the 20yo stuff that's on there to new bits, it'll all make a difference)
Chances are you'll be surprised how far you can get these vehicles around without the need for seriously big tyres, gotta remember your diffs aren't as big as some trucks so less chances of getting hung up if you pick good lines. I too can vouch for Lax (Josh) being a goldmine of info on these things

Just be wary as to the putting your drivetrain under too much strain with too "big and fat" tyres though
Unless you SAS the front then you can go crazy all you like, few guys in the states run 35s with SAS

Awwww shucks :)

We have a good team of Terrano enthusiasts here and a lot of combined knowledge.

They seem to have risen in popularity over the last couple of years.
