After some info on the sensor which is on the side of the Td42 radiator . Is it a switch for a fan?. If yes what temps does it operate at.
Just in the throws of mocking up the rear mount rad setup using AU falcon fans and looking at using it to trigger one of the fans. The other will be controlled with my auberins water temp gauge.

given the age may pay to buy a new thermostatic switch regardles. but if its the bottom tank it will be thermo switch top tank will be low coolant

Just be aware running a single fan in a twin setup will also try and draw some air through the non running fan rather than the radiator..unless the shroud seperates them, havnt seen the falcon fans. How much effect this actually has I don't know, probably not much especially if the falcon ECU runs them this way. Just some food for thought that I read somewhere

Im running a single nissan 2speed fan on mine (pretty sure you can get dual 2speeds too on later Camry's etc), mostly since the radiator was a good size, had the right size pipe fittings, and had the coolant bottle built into the shroud kept it all nice and compact, but I doubt my little nissan march radiator would be sufficient for your truck
