88 Surf with a 3y

Hey all, just a question..

What size tyres do you think I could run on my surf, it has a 3y in it and atm it has 31" AT's. it drives well on the road with them and isn't too gutless or anything, im really keen on getting another set of wheels but putting 33" muddys on them but im not too sure how the engine will cope with it and the diff ratio etc. Any advice please?

is it the 3ye or just the carb'd 3y?

i had one and it was on 33's, had the 4.55 diffs so wasnt too bad aye... but was the 3ye, was injected and went well.

Cheers mate, yeh ive got the carby 3y :/ sucks how they had to come out with such a gutless engine. I was thinking of possibly going to 32's?
