help with understanding where suction control valve is

As above. I need to know where in the system it is on a holden colarado with a common rail and would dirty diesel damage it.
long story short dirty diesel was used and got through filter through pump and into injectors, the truck was still running but very ruff. all been cleaned out and new injectors put in but im being charged for a suction valve but want to find out if its because of the diesel or if its something someone else has done when they were in finding problem.

Look like dirty diesel will damage it and it's vital to control the rail pressure.

give me a pm we just did a pump and injectors on one this week and have a good supplier for the latest procured one , they take and extremely small amount of damage to cause issue
