So I'm removing my injector pump on my qd32eti terrano. How do I get at the bottom bolt on the Injector? There's what I'm guessing as a vacuum pump for the brake booster below it? Do I have to remove that to get at the bolt??

yes you guessed it the vacuum pump has to come off.

it's been about a year since i did mine, but undo the banjo bolt on the back, then there is one long bolt and a nut that goes right through the pump housing and the timing cover housing, then there are two shorter bolts, you will have to wiggle the pump around to get it out as it is a tight fit for the gear to remove but it should slide out no issue.

once that is done you will get to the bottom of the three bolts that hold the pump to the front cover,

if you haven't done it already, undo the complete bracket under the pump that bolts it to the engine block, as this is also how the timing is adjusted, undoing it at the block will keep the adjuster nut/bolt in place so you wont have to redo the timing when you bolt it back on...or then bolt the whole bracket to the replacement pump without undoing the adjuster nut.

Thanks so much man!!! I've notice the vacuum pump gear doesn't have any marks on it, I'm guessing it doesn't need timing then?

no, does not matter.

on this.....if the injector pump is replaced with a mech pump, does this Vac pump have to go back on? Can it go back on?
Or would an alternator with a Vac pump be required?

I have only had a look around the plumbing of one of these about 10 months ago my brothers Mistral in NZ

It would be much easier to refit vacuum pump. You could go to the hassle of blanking off, replumbing vacuum lines and squeezing in the longer alternator (and plumbing oil feed/drain). I don't see any advantages to that for a whole lot of work however

yes the only difference in the pump is the top half that revolves around the needle valve, the actual body of the pumps are the same.

the vacum pump wont be effected by it.
