engine and auto swap

Hi I have a 92 d21 terrano 4 door that I drowned in a river. I'm at the stage of rebuilding it. I have got another terrano 4door for parts with a mint engine and auto and am wondering what the easiest way of taking them out. Will they come out as 1 through the engine bay or do I have to take the auto our separately?

I haven't tried it myself, but the engine, trans and transfer all together is such a large object, I doubt you could easily slide it out in one go. The weight distribution would be terrible and angle you would need to tilt it making it almost impossible to get out in one go.

Bugger I didn't really want to drop the box our separately but logically I'm going to have to. Cheers for the input
