TD42 turbo feed T'd from Oil Pressure sender - questions

Hey guys,
I installed one of them Scarles SCR320's over xmas. I took the turbo oil feed from the filter side, by teeing off where the pressure sender goes. I then installed an aftermarket sender and gauge as well.
I have a couple of questions:
- With the turbo feed teeing from there, is the oil pressure gauge going to be accurate?
- Will the oil pressure gauge indicate low oil, or an oil leak anywhere in the system?
- Will the oil pressure gauge indicate a blockage in the turbo feed line?

Cheers

there is a taped hole in the block on the left hand side between engine mount bolts , short line oil feed for turbos or tee into vacuum pump oil feed easier less worries

yeah do as above, they came factory turbo so the blocks have allowances for them, and correct your oil pressure gauge wont read true if the turbo line is drawing flow/pressure past the sender.

Damn... yea we were thinking of taking it from the exhaust side, but opted to take it from the filter side because we thought that:
- the oil might heat up too much coming past the manifold
- the oil would be cleaner
- the oil would be higher pressure
We were also copying the setup of a truck that was built by Motortec 4x4 on the North Shore a few years back. Stock senders on two other trucks with this setup don't set off warnings in the dash.
Any other downsides to this kind of setup? If the pressure reported is going to be a bit low I'm not too worried (usually 60psi cold while driving, 40-50psi once it's warmed up, 30psi warmed up idling).
The main thing I want to know is how to diagnose problems through the oil pressure gauge... and if this setup would mask symptoms. I'm not having any problems (apart from a stupid leaky banjo bolt that came with turbo - soon to be replaced with a plate), just would be good to know.
