Hi all,

I have a question about converting a 1991 L200 turbo diesel 4x4 from a manual gear box to a autmatic transmission,

is it able to be done using a trans out of another mitsubishi 4x4 vehicle and keep it 4wd,
or would i have to just use a RWD transmission and leave it at that,

The reason I need it made automatic is due to being mainly in a wheelchair and can only drive auto vehicles.
the vehicle i'm asking about for the conversion is because its for free,

4d56 engine correct? pajero auto from same era should bolt right in

just be aware that the auto may not get lock up and overdrive without the inputs from the tps and speed sensor on manual engine so make sure you get that too
