Hi work on a farm boss has had an old farm worker sitting in shed 4 years with broken leaf, got spring from wrecker today put in chucked a battery in and away it went but
have dicovered transfer shifter wont move from 2wd
aparently this happen a while before spring broke
could that be an easy fix? Or would it need a new transfer?

Common cause is a stuffed pivot bush which sits under ball on gear lever, there is a trick to removing the lever you need to push the collar around the lever down and twist it (can't remember which way) and it will come off and allow lever to be removed.
