Electronic Speed Sensors

Well Rick's figured the wiring out. But we have a problem...
The Prado doesn't have a speed sensor on the Speedometer, so the auto won't auto shift.
Any idea if we can fit one? maybe get a surf guage as they have them?
Ideas? Cheers...
