here's the guard chop I've been working on recently truck runs a 2" suspension lift,15mm radius arm spacers (trundles),80 series bump stop conversion and no bodylift .
really quite happy with the combos result under full compression (cross axle flex) I have my 35 10.5 simexs clearing rear inner wells by 50mm on 16x8 -19 rims.
I have just ordered 30mm trim blocks as I plan to reinstall the pto winch and some further bar work.
longer shocks front and rear are now on the shopping list along with shock tower spacers for the front.
Skinning the big ginga tom a bit differently to the crowd but I'm a tutu and quite like pushing the boundaries beyond opinion of the pub wheelers

Looks good man I'm a big advocate for guard chopping over lifting. The benefits of a body lift / big suspension lift just don't out way the negatives

^cool! definitely like the yanks 1/3 up travel 2/3 down travel philosophy,
seems a lot of guys get really hung up on having a big suspension or bodylift combined,
The 2 " suspension lift in mine is fairly sagged so a 30mm trim will help it with the extra weight I'm putting in and also with the longer shocks I'm seeking to regain a little flex after the bump conversion.

Mate really interested in what your doing. I'm in the process of planning some work on my Safari. I'm not super concerned about getting the tub further off thr ground but do want clearance and flex. Had not thought about guard work but happy to consider that as a better option. Also interested in your shock combo and options so keen to follow what you do buddy.

I installed the radius arm spacers a couple days ago along with the 30mm trim blocks , pretty happy with the result although was a bit of a wrestling match realigning the diff to fasten the radius arms.
have a set of 80 series shocks to try in the front (to measure whether shock tower spacers will be required)
