Hi everyone

I am currently running a 2 inch lift in my 80 series and after going to 315 tyres they start to rub when on the flexing so am wanting to go a little higher. As it is my daily I am not wanting to go to a 4 inch as I think anything more would be to much.

But as my 80 has been modified quite abit I don't know if these will help compensate for the weights and need to know what you think would be the best setup to run (Id rather ask a stupid question and get an answer than do something stupid)

So here are the modifications I have to allow for

Bullbars and winch on the front
Double cab ute conversion ( so would need to be able to handle abit of a load, anything from empty to 300kgs ish)
Also does a bit of towing aswell

So what I am really asking here would a trademe kit be good enough as it is around what im wanting to spend or am I going to get better value for my money( which is around 2 grand but coud go more if worth it) by getting my own springs, shocks, caster bushes ect from someone local.

Also what setups would be recommended

Also as I have rocksliders, deck and bulbar I don't want to bodylift it

Suspension lift will only give you more static clearance i.e. when on flat ground and not moving. There is still nothing stopping the tyre from rubbing the guards, it just has to move up a bit more to do so. If you don't want a bodylift you will need to either modify guards or extend the bumpstops to stop the axle from moving up as far causing the tyres to rub.

Hi mate I can do a lift like that but in nz and all covered by warrantee , the only way that a big lift will work as previously mentioned is by either dropping bump stops or running an internally bump stopped shock ,
Let me know if you ware interested in a lift as we stock a huge range for the 80 , Springs shocks panhards castor correction and brake hoses for 1750 inc gst

yup I am interested, what brand do you stock and do you stock mounts to drop the sway bars
