v6 terrano manual conversion

ok so whos done one and what difference did it make to fuel consumtion?? mines a d21 3.0 V6 AUTO and im getting 400-450kms out of a tank so naturally putting in a 5 speed manual will help ,but how much ,need to know if its worth it cheers
