Ok, all you Nissan Gurus out there in 4wd land!

We want to mount a tacho to Richies Mongrel. (mongrel being a thing of many, varied and mixed parentage)

Is there a stock item?
Is it mechanical or electric, read electronic.
Where do the pickups go if electronic.

Or are we faced with an after market gizmo?

The wiring diagram says engine revoltion sensor

found the sensor it's fitted to the desiel pump on a 2.8

Will get a tach from the wreckers and we shall see if it all works. Will post results of this experiment here.
