Jeez, do people even read what they write? Most of the time you can understand what they're getting at, but this one..?
nzteza - Here's a quick tip:
The easier it is for people to understand what you're asking, the better/faster it will be for you to find a resolution for whatever queries you have.

If I had half a brain it'd be lonely and even I can work out what that says, ever had the thought maybe some people just aren't good at typing?
To the original poster, what is causing the problem? e.g. are the rims you are trying hitting the brake caliper? Also what are the specs on them offset width etc.

Wrong. Hasn't a clue. He obviously can read as he had to log in. Just a lazy writer who never mastered the art of ,?!. etc
What are your rims looking for? Are they looking for tyres? Hubs?

So I think Nzteza meant
nzteza wrote:On my model I have been told they don't have them. We tried test fit and no go. Has someone had the same problem? Any one have any ideas?
However, I still have no idea what exactly you are asking. Don't have what? Test fitted what? Rims?, I assume. Maybe you have just missed a word out? (forgivable, I make those kinds of mistakes all the time).
zukmeista wrote:even I can work out what that says
Really? Care to explain it? Or are you guessing?

Whoever they tried to buy rims off doesn't know jack and told them they can't get aftermarket rims for their hilux. They want to know if anyone else has had trouble finding some and would you fine academic gentlemen be so kind as to point out where they may have gone wrong in their search.
YES they need to provide more info YES typing skills could do with some work but if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything or as I prefer if you can't answer he question or be of any help at all shut the f**K up! This is why forums are dying because people just don't want to try and help anymore, just cause you can't be bothered helping doesn't mean no one else will. Call me an arsehole if you want I'm not denying it!

Never said they were but not very constructive or helpful either. Interesting to know you like to fantasise about males wearing female underwear though, not my cup of tea but obviously you enjoy it!

ummmmm yeah nah
forums are dying due to the change in the engrish language.
its no longer acceptable practice to use proper english and grammer skills.
txt abbreviations have taken over
and you will find the all knowing folks on this forum are of a more distinguished age and simply struggle with the way it seems to be these days in the way of the engrish language

As previously said, the original post made absolutely no sense and didnt really point out his issue

Rant over.
I have an assortment of 15" rims I can sell the learned chap or I can sell him new ones. I guarantee they will all fit hahahahaha they may just hang out the guards a wee bit

Nope. The gold steel safari rims that are common as on Safaris do not fit on an ln106. They foul on the callipers. (Though other Saf rims may work, I don't know)

That's unfair bro. There are plenty of people who have commented in the thread who regularly contribute constructively to threads on here (including yourself).
Also, showing someone how to improve their post so as to receive the answers they seek IS helpful.
Forums are slowing down because other social media platforms are taking off. There are build threads etc on facebook that don't exist on forums. I'm sad about it, but it's happening.
