Hi guys new to zooks needing some spring advice I have just recently bought a 1990 Suzuki escudo short wheel base my question is it has been lifted seems the wrong way at the front the springs seem to big at the top to seat in properly and they are rubbing on the bump stops making a horrible sound what is the best option to fix this should I buy proper Suzuki springs or will the 1600 long wheelbase ones make a difference??
Any advice would be appreciated as im trying to get the old girl road legal
thanks guys

LWB ones will give you about 30mm of lift in a SWB or buy new raised ones. Its always best to have the right part for the job.

Sounds like someone might have done the "cheap vitara lift" One model of spring people use is too large to seat on the upper properly. It can also mean the brake caliper binds on the spring. The other components used seem to work well (except the front shocks) because they seemed a bit short on the truck I did the lift too. Doing it again, I'd do the cheap lift on the rear and proper parts up front if not proper lift parts all round.
