hi i'm doing to trans swap in a v6 d21 terrano...just wonder do you undo the torque convertor through the starter hole?

It's a bitch, youll have have the remove that rear cover from the bottom from there you can gain more access. The starter motor hole was too small to fit anything in. i used a 6 point socket, ground down small enough to fit in and welded a flat bar with a bend it in. you can just get it on, then got someone at the front with a socket and breaker bar on the crank pulley.

cheers thanks for that...i was thinking there must be something different than the starter hole...that plate does it just drop down when you loosen everything or is it on guide pegs
