ZD30DDTi engine bits FS. Wtd QD32/TD27 bits

Post by 3VILC »

Dropped a bottom end bearing and changing to a QD32 so if anyone needs any ZD30 bolt on bits let me know everything else is good turbo is mint etc.
Also need a QD32 or TD27 air con compressor (ETI if there is any difference)

Sweet how much you want for that? Hoping the hose fitting are the same at least. Just need to get some radiator hoses and sort the exhaust. Probably just about cheaper to get my exhaust guy to make up a bolt in bit to join the dump pipe to my exhaust rather than get the whole front exhaust section from a wrecker. Finally got a crane at home so can lift the old block out and see what gone wrong in the bottom end

Haven't found anything wrong with the top end, and the noise certainly sounds like a bottom end knock. Found a small metal fragment in the sump so kindof picking I'm going to find some bigger bits in the main oil pan once I've got the block out to be able to get it off. It's probably salvageable can't see any real bore damage from the top end, but can't really be stuffed fixing it.

Was gonna suggest checking the flexplate, if its broken or loose sounds like a bottom end knock but I guess the metal in the sump may speak for itself

Strange that you mention that it's always had a shudder when the torque converter locks but I just figured buggered lockup clutch so will use the converter from the QD. Again it would explain the noise, but not the massive blowby tho lol
