Raising the R50 Terrano

Hi guys. I have a 96 R50 Terrano. I am wanting to lift the front suspension. There is so much info on the net but I wonder how accurate it is. Does anyone know how high I could lift the front before the cvs will bind on full extension. What is the best way to achieve a lift- Springs -spacers?. Has anyone had any experience with these vehicles? What works and what should be avoided. Are there mods that need to be done in conjunction with a lift? Any thoughts out there guys?
