Anyone recognise this turbo? Doesn't look like any of the Garrett's I've usally seen pictured nor is it the same as the Hitachi of the WD21 TD27s, anyone able to shed some light?

Looks just like a td27eti turbo. Qd32eti also has that type turbo, although could well be different spec

probably td27eti from a r50. terrano and mistral turbos are different, even though they both use a variant of the td27eti

703605-0003/0003 (nissan part number)is the one in the pic 96-98 r50. and post 2001 r20.

R20 97-99 is a tb2580

some top mounted intercooled td27 in the navara used a gt2052v

earlier td27 including pre 97 r20 uses a similar turbo to the gt2052s or td04l

most if not all run a .48 A/R

manufacturers use the letter on the end to generally denote the application and hense the housing to suit, since r50 isnt top mount intercooled it doesnt get a
conventional housing as we would know it

Did some more research (thanks to Crash's Part Numbers) and found out that yep the turbo I have in my picture is still a TB2580 just with different housing. Perfect! 8) That's going in very soon once I have a free weekend to spare
