mate tried to fit a LN130 transfer onto my VZN185 transmission today, completely different. the LN130 was a manual, don't know the code.
are the transfers off manuals and autos the same?
is the KZN130 transfer different shape to the LN130? where it bolts onto transmission.
does it make a difference if its a diesel or petrol? VZN130 transfer onto VZN185? KZN130 onto KZN185?

Re: 130 transfer on 185 transmission
A vzn130 uses a a343h trans which has a hydraulic shifted and partially electronic controlled transfer that is not easily separated from the trans. I did come across a write up about putting a 4cyl petrol 185 series auto into a 4cyl petrol 130 series, I think it was on marlin crawlers site.
They swapped the rear extension housing and trans speed sensor as one has 2 pulse per revolution and the other has 4 and the sensors are in different locations on the extension housing, this required some machining.
You will probably need and auto transfer and I would guess any non vzn transfer should work.
