2.4 turbo injector pump timing

Hiya,
My son has bought home a 1991 2.4 turbo Surf SSR limited, it is a bush hack.
The previous owner replaced a leaky seal on the injector pump but got it wrong when re assembling. Wont start, assuming timing is wrong.
What is involved in sorting this and is there anyone in the Welly/Wairarapa area that could help?? $$ will be paid :mrgreen:

Or I just put the turbo on my 2.8 hilux.......... :wink:

has it got fuel at the injectors when you crack them and crank it?

Hi, yes we have fuel at the injectors, have found a local diesel mechanic who is happy to do the work for trade able currency :wink:

Got timing sorted and now hes off playing in muddy stuff :mrgreen:

I wonder if he will notice turbo is missing :twisted:
