anyone have a granvia with the 5vzfe in it? does the motor sit front to back? is the sump front or rear?

read on a overseas forum that people who put a 5vzfe into a 3vze surf have just swapped the pan, pick up, dipstick etc onto the 5vzfe. I've had a few 3vze surfs but pretty sure the sump is at the front, just favouring the left not right (opposite side ifs diff head).

the 3vz was used in other cars too, as a 3vzfe but more than likely east/west. windom, camry. not sure if the sump would work.

I think you might be right about the left right difference, I did the wiring for a 5vz swap into a 130 and the sump and pickup were swapped as was the dipstick moved from one side to the other. The front drive engines are usually front sump to allow the exhaust to go under the engine. Maybe a v6 Granvia sump?

any T100's in NZ? with the 5vz fe. on the off chance someone knows of one with a poked motor.

granvia v6 pan isn't ideal, its higher at front but not as high as ^^^
