Just wondering if anyone has done this? Or if it was ever a stock option, I don't think it was...
does anyone know which safs came out with an umbrella handbrake (I see the knockout is there beside the steering column)?
but asides from that I can't see much that would need moving.
TIA.

I'll have to check out the mounting and whatnot but definitely keen to see if it will fit.

What are they worth to you?mudlva wrote:Guess what i found
Obviously you've seen them mounted, how does that work out with the tunnel, it's quite high in the gq, but i dont know about the mk/q, presumably there's another seat rail needed on the drivers side of the seat?

The l.c. seat were reappolistered and retrofitted into a mid wheel ex bh74. They owe me $400.

It would be the nissen one... My other option is to get handy with the ply and foam, which I'm slowly convincing myself isn't a bad idea.mudlva wrote:The l.c. seat were reappolistered and retrofitted into a mid wheel ex bh74. They owe me $400.

Re: Bench Seat, Saf front?
the knock out your referring to is prob the rear sway bar disconnect that some came out with ,it was located passenger side of steering

That is where it is...presumably that was cable actuated?monstr wrote:the knock out your referring to is prob the rear sway bar disconnect that some came out with ,it was located passenger side of steering
Either way it wouldn't take much to convert to an umbrella handbrake.
