safari rear diff lock

Hey guys, new to the site and just after a bit of help with my safari. I recently purchased a 1990 safari, td42 non turbo, 35's, 4 inch lift with drop boxes and rear diff lock. Over all I am very happy with it. Heres my problem tho. It originally was a automatic and has been converted to manual. Im assuming while it was auto, the two vaccume lines ran to the diff lock and the brake booster but now one is running to the brake booster and one to the clutch booster leaving the diff lock line running no where. When you disconnect the line from the clutch booster and hook the diff lock back into the vaccume it works fine. I have tee valved the line running to the clutch booster and run the diff lock line into it but won't engage the diff lock (Im assuming it does not have enough pressure to run both?). Any ideas on how to fix the problem? Could i run the brake booster and clutch booster of the same line and put the diff lock back into its original place? Any help appreciated

I'm sure that the brake & clutch normally run off the same tank, diff lock runs off the other. I just changed my factory diff lock to a ARB air locker so am now running clutch vacuum from the diff lock tank.
I'm assuming you have 2 vacuum tanks?

By tanks do you mean the lil plastic ones by the passenger side firewall? It does have two there tho. Will try it the way you mentioned tho and see how it goes.
